Find your tribe in the Community Hub

For BSAVA Congress and Expo 2025, we’re introducing an exciting new feature at the centre of our Exhibition Hall designed to enhance attendee engagement and foster greater connections – The Community Hub. Our goal is to help attendees ‘Find their Tribe’, connect with individuals that have common experiences, and expand their networks, whether personally or professionally. We want everyone who attends Congress to leave feeling more supported, inspired, and enriched by their experience.

Discover Zone

A space dedicated to learning and sharing valuable insights

Here, we are planning sessions in collaboration with organisations such as MMI, BVA Great Workplaces Initiative; Vetlife and also covering topics such as ‘Where to begin with Research/Writing’, ‘Volunteering’, ‘Career Development’ and more. It’s the perfect place to discover new ideas, tips, and resources. Our amazing speakers will give a short presentation followed by audience to speaker and audience to audience interaction.

Connect Zone

Connect and share experiences

A unique area for you to connect and share experiences across generations, with other parents or for those from similar regions. Where personal connections can flourish, creating a network of support and camaraderie. Our facilitators & ice breakers will help stimulate some interesting, useful (and in some cases, fun) conversations.

New to Congress or attending on your own? Our early morning meet and greet sessions are designed for those wanting to buddy up with other delegates for their stay at Congress. Come along and make new friends!

Interests Zone

Share, discover and exchange

Whether you're passionate about books, hiking, photography, or cooking, this is the place to share your interests, discover new ones, and exchange knowledge. It’s a great way to bond over shared passions or try something new!

Finding harmony through song

Discover the Benefits of Singing

Come along to our Finding harmony: singing really is good for you session in the Community Hub, where Musical Director and VetChoir UK Founder Helen Styles, will share how singing can boost mood, reduce stress, and build a sense of community. Whether you’re a shower singer or a seasoned performer, everyone is welcome!

Singalong with VetChoir

After the intro session, get ready for the main event Voices in practice: come along and sing – a fun, uplifting singalong session led by VetChoir's Helen Styles, where you can experience the wellbeing benefits of music firsthand. No musical talent required, just a willingness to join in and have fun!

About VetChoir UK

VetChoir UK began in November 2020 as a virtual choir created for anyone connected to the veterinary profession – whether currently practising or not. With rehearsals held entirely online, members can join from anywhere in the UK or even further afield.
