Katherine trained to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse at Harper Adams University and qualified with a Foundation Science Degree in Veterinary Nursing in 2013. After graduating, she went on to work in a busy first-opinion veterinary hospital in the West Midlands. During her time in practice, she achieved the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing and soon after achieved the Bachelor of Science Degree in Veterinary Nursing in 2017. She later achieved Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy in 2020 and a Master's Degree in Advanced Veterinary Nursing in 2024.''
