Ellie qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2016. After graduation she enjoyed working and developing her skills in small animal first opinion practice for 2 years. She then returned to the University of Liverpool's Small Animal Teaching Hospital to complete a 13-month rotating internship. It was in these first years in practice that she developed a love for dermatology and in 2019 she embarked upon a residency training programme. Ellie completed her residency in 2023 and passed the ECVD board examinations in 2024.'
