Elizabeth Bruno-McClung
Liz graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2011 and worked in small animal practice prior to completing an MSc in Public Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in 2021. She then joined the Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA) and currently leads the Small Animal Expert Group within APHA’s Surveillance Intelligence Unit, responsible for the detection, investigation and characterisation of new or re-emerging risks and threats in the UK’s small animal population. Her interests and past research have focused on one health issues including rabies, tuberculosis, and antimicrobial resistance.
