Aoife Ryan

Aoife graduated from the RVC and worked in mixed practice, before embarking on specialist anaesthesia training at Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists. She has been an EBVS TM European Specialist in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia since 2023, and is currently co- head of anaesthesia at the Royal Veterinary College. Her areas of interest include sustainability, recently publishing the first veterinary study calculating the carbon emissions associated with a procedure, chronic pain and anaesthesia education of students and first opinion practitioners.
