This session will highlight the important role veterinary nurses play in day-to-day care of cancer patients and their owners. The panellists will provide practical tips on dealing with the everyday struggles in communication, emotional upheaval (for owners and veterinary staff) and handling common issues when nursing these patients. They will share their own experiences including challenges and how these were overcome as well as success stories.
